The “Atrium” is the new Hockey meeting place

The new Atrium is where the existing building has been blended with the new building at the Gold Coast Hockey Centre.  The brand new staircase takes visitors up to the new building with viewing available on both sides.  The Atrium will fast become the new meeting place where players and fans will meet and mingle.  The Atrium also provides direct ground level viewing access to both fields on the Eastern & Western sides of the precinct.

On the first level the Atrium has a walkway linking the existing building with the new building providing easy access.  There is undercover seating and a designated wheelchair viewing area to view the Eastern turf.

The Atrium has both an open roof and closed roof section for protection from all weather conditions.  With a brand new drinking fountain and garden area it is a great addition to the Hockey centre and sure to be the new meeting point when the facility opens.
